|
In land area, Australia is the sixth largest
nation after Russia, Canada, China, the United States of America
and Brazil. It has, however, a relatively small population.
Australia is the only nation to govern an entire continent and
its outlying islands. The mainland is the largest island and the
smallest, flattest continent on Earth. It lies between 10° and
39° South latitude.
The highest point on the mainland, Mount Kosciuszko, is only
2228 meters. Apart from Antarctica, Australia is the driest
continent.
Australia is the driest inhabited continent on earth. Its
interior has one of the lowest rainfalls in the world and about
three-quarters of the land is arid or semi-arid. Its fertile
areas are well-watered, however, and these are used very
effectively to help feed the world. Sheep and cattle graze in
dry country, but care must be taken with the soil. Some grazing
land became desert when the long cycles that influence rainfall
in Australia turned to drought.
The Australian federation consists of six States and two
Territories. Most inland borders follow lines of longitude and
latitude. The largest State, Western Australia, is about the
same size as Western Europe

Bangkok Package |

|
Bangkok is the largest
city in Thailand, as well as being it's
capital and main port. It is the cultural,
educational, political and economic center
of Thailand, as well as being the only
metropolis. Bangkok has grown and expanded
to include the area Thon Buri, which had at
one point been the capital of Siam, and the
combined area is commonly known as Krung
Thep Mahanakhon. The area of Bangkok,
including Thon Buri and other provinces, is
approximately 23 miles (37 km).
The population of Bangkok is close to 9
million people. This very highly populated
city is currently faced with pollution
problems in addition to traffic congestion
and critical housing shortages, like any
other large city. Bangkok's weather is hot
and humid year round with temperatures
ranging from 26 to 31 degrees C (78 - 90
degrees F)
Most residents of Thailand are native Thais,
although there is an influx of Chinese
immigrants as well as Indians, Arabs, Malays
and Europeans. Most Thais are welcoming and
friendly to visitors to Bangkok, as it is
one of the most highly visited cities in
Southeast Asia. In addition, Bangkok has an
important influence on Southeast Asia's
industrial and financial sectors.
One of the busiest airports in Southeast
Asia is located just outside Bangkok, Don
Muang International Airport. Bangkok is also
well-known for its water travel by way of
its rivers. Bangkok is also the center of
transportation in Thailand with major roads
and railways branching out to various parts
of the country.
In Bangkok, numerous beautiful temples can
be found featuring traditional Thai
architecture. The old sections of Bangkok
are immensely popular tourist spots,
particularly with the royal Grand Palace.
Bangkok is an interesting blend of
traditional buildings and modern
skyscrapers.

Beijing Package |

|
Beijing, the capital of
China, is a city where the ancient culture
and the modern civilization are well
integrated. It attracts tens of millions of
visitors and tourists both at home and
abroad each year to enjoy its rich culture
and wonderful scenery.
Beijing is endowed with rare cultural
heritage by its long history. The Great
Wall, one of the world wonders and the only
piece of man-made architecture that can be
seen from the space, meanders through
mountains and valleys for hundreds of
kilometers in the region of Beijing. The
poetic and picturesque Summer Palace is a
classic work of the imperial garden. The
Forbidden City is the most splendid
architectural complex of imperial palaces in
the world. The Temple of Heaven is the place
of worship for emperors of Ming and Qing
dynasties as well as a masterpiece of
ancient Chinese architectural art. The above
four have all been listed in the World
Cultural Heritage by the United Nations
Educational, Scientific and Cultural
Organization (UNESCO). The Hutongs and the
dwelling compounds (quadrangles or Siheyuan)
are of the most Beijing flavored. They have
witnessed the ups and downs of the city in
the past centuries and are a symbol of the
life of Beijing people.
Changes have been taking place day by day in
Beijing as China's deepening reform and
opening-up. As a popular saying going around
here, Beijing is growing taller with more
massive buildings springing up, greener with
trees and grass covered all over the city,
and younger with people leading a richer and
more colorful life in Beijing. It has full
confidence to advance at a greater pace in
the 21st century. This is Beijing, old as
well as young, full of charm. It is our
sincere hope that you will make best use of
your time here to see around. We believe
that you will harvest a lot

Hong Kong, described as a
'barren rock' over 150 years ago, has become
a world-class financial, trading and
business centre and, indeed, a great world
city. Hong Kong has no natural resources,
except one of the finest deep-water ports in
the world. A hardworking, adaptable and
well-educated workforce of about 3.58
million, coupled with entrepreneurial flair,
is the bedrock of Hong Kong's productivity
and creativity. Hong Kong became a Special
Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's
Republic of China on July 1, 1997, after a
century and a half of British
administration. Under Hong Kong's
constitutional document, the Basic Law, the
existing economic, legal and social systems
will be maintained for 50 years. The SAR
enjoys a high degree of autonomy except in
defense and foreign affairs

K.Lumpur
|
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia |
|
|
 |
|
More than any other spot in the country, Kuala
Lumpur, or "KL" as it is commonly known, is the focal point of
new Malaysia. While the city's past is still present in the
evocative British colonial buildings of the Dataran Merdeka and
the midnight lamps of the Petaling Street nightmarket, that past
is everywhere met with insistent reminders of KL's present and
future. The city's bustling streets, its shining, modern office
towers, and its cosmopolitan air project an unbounded spirit of
progress and symbolize Malaysia's unhesitating leap into the
future. To some, this spirit seems to have been gained at the
loss of ancient cultural traditions, but in many ways KL marks
the continuation rather than the loss of Malaysia's rich past.
Like Malacca five hundred years before, KL's commercial centre
is a grand meeting place for merchants and travelers from all
over the world.
In the same way, the city brings together Malaysia's past and
present, its many constituent cultures, and even its remarkable
natural treasures, allowing first-time visitors an invaluable
opportunity to see Malaysia as a whole before setting off to
explore its parts. In the botanical and bird parks of the Lake
Gardens one is treated to a first glimpse of the unsurpassed
beauty and variety of Malaysia's plants and animals. In the
vibrant Central Market, music, crafts, and cultural practices
from Kelantan to Sarawak can be explored and experienced. And in
the National Museum, the dizzying multiplicity of Malaysia's
cultural history comes into focus. As the entry point for most
visitors and the meeting point of the country's many
attractions, Kuala Lumpur is a grand gateway to a fascinating
destination.

Macau
|
Macau Package |
|
|
 |
|
|
|
Macau's historic centre
was added to the UNESCO World Cultural
Heritage Site list in 2005, underlining its
strategic and cultural importance over
centuries. The mixture of colonial
Portuguese architecture sits beautifully
alongside its East-Asian flair.
Parts of Macau offer serenely traditional
countryside, ancestral Chinese villages and
pine-forested hills. Much of 'old' Macau is
preserved on its islands, including fishing
boat building yards, colonial mansions,
Chinese temples and floating fisherfolk
communities. Yet Macau also entices visitors
with its glitzy casinos and motor races,
making for a fascinatingly unique
destination.
Macau was founded in 1557 during the great
era of Portuguese overseas exploration. It
became the major port between the Far East
and Europe and, in 1670, was confirmed as a
Portuguese possession by the Chinese. Macau
went into decline as a regional trading
centre from the early 19th century, when the
British occupied Hong Kong.
In 1999, Macau, like Hong Kong, became a
'Special Administrative Region' within
China, operating under a ‘one country, two
systems' policy, maintaining its own
political, social and economic systems.

Saigon
|
Saigon, Ho Chi MInh City |
|
|
 |
|
Ho Chi Minh City,
formerly known as Saigon, locates at the
heart of the southern part of Viet Nam,
between the northern edge of the Mekong
Delta and the South Eastern region of
volcanic red soil. Being a transformation
between the two terrains, Ho Chi Minh City
is intertwined with natural forest, vast
plains, long coast and hundreds of rivers
and canals. The Saigon River winds around
the city and connect it with the East Sea.
Over the past three centuries, Saigon, once
praised as the “Pearl of the Orient”, was
known as an important trade center for
Chinese, Japanese and Western merchants. It
had also been christened the “Paris of Asia”
for its wide boulevards lined with the
stately trees and magnificent French villas.
Nowadays, Ho Chi Minh City has a total area
of 2,090 square kilometers, which
encompasses 24 districts with an area of 230
square kilometers and five outer-counties
with an area of 1,860 square kilometers. The
city, which a total population of over seven
millions, is the largest city in Viet Nam, a
major hub for commercial, tourist, cultural
and scientific activities.
This always-in-rush-hour city churns bubbles
and fumes. The streets, where much of the
city’s life takes place, are a myriad of
street markets, shops, pavement cafes,
stands-on-wheels and vendor selling wares
spread out on sidewalk. Yet within the
teeming metropolis are timeless traditions
and beauty of an ancient culture. A mix of
the old and new is witnessed where the
skyscrapers are juxtaposed with faded French
colonial buildings, where one would easily
find something to entertain himself whether
he wants to discover museums, pagodas,
markets or just sipping coffee in a sidewalk
cafes, chatting with fellow travelers,
listening to thumping music.
A trip to Ho Chi Minh City offers you a good
experience of warm emotions: the incredible
pride and genuine warmth of its people, the
richness of its culture, the depth of its
tradition and the diversity of its
landscape. You will be welcomed, celebrated,
and made to feel like family. You will be
greeted with smiles, waves and shouts of
"hello!”.
Dynamic, bustling, crowded but liberal and
friendly, Ho Chi Minh City has so much to
offer to visitors.

Singapore

Singapore Package |

|
|
Singapore is a
cosmopolitan society where people live
harmoniously and interaction among different
races are commonly seen. The pattern of
Singapore stems from the inherent cultural
diversity of the island. The immigrants of
the past have given the place a mixture of
Malay, Chinese, Indian, and European
influences, all of which have intermingled.
Behind the facade of a modern city, these
ethnic races are still evident. The areas
for the different races, which were
designated to them by Sir Stamford Raffles,
still remain although the bulk of
Singaporeans do think of themselves as
Singaporeans, regardless of race or culture.
Each still bears its own unique character.
The old streets of Chinatown can still be
seen; the Muslim characteristics are still
conspicuous in Arab Street; and Little India
along Serangoon Road still has its distinct
ambience. Furthermore, there are marks of
the British colonial influence in the
Neo-Classical buildings all around the city.
Each racial group has its own distinctive
religion and there are colorful festivals of
special significance all year round.
Although the festivals are special to
certain races, it is nonetheless enjoyed by
all.
In Singapore, food is also readily and
widely available. There are lots of cuisines
to offer. We have, Chinese, Indian, Malay,
Indonesian and Western, Italian, Peranakan,
Spanish, French, Thai and even Fusion. It is
very common to savour other culture's food
and some of the food can be very intriguing.
Indian food are relatively spicier, whereas
Chinese food is less spicier and the Chinese
enjoy seafood. Malay cooking uses coconut
milk as their main ingredient, that makes
their food very tasty.

Shanghai Package |
|
|
 |
|
One of China's leading ports,
Shanghai is also one of the busiest ports as
well as the center for industry and commerce.
The dynamics of Shanghai changed a bit after
1949 when the new Communist government was
established, modern Shanghai is a bustling
center of business.
A top shopping spot in Shanghai is Nanjing Road,
but there are many other streets and areas with
tourist attractions and shops. In addition to
having great shopping, Shanghai is also a
fabulous place for gourmet food. With Chinese
food alone, there are restaurants catering to
sixteen different styles ranging from Beijing to
Fujian.
Shanghai's people are open and welcoming to
those visiting from around the world, which is
necessary to continue making Shanghai into a
successful international force.
